Welcome to another Monday my friends. Here is a little description courtesy of our friends over at
Wikipedia....Groundhog Day (French: Jour de la marmotte) is an annual holiday celebrated on February 2[1] in the United States and Canada on which if a groundhog emerges from its burrow and fails to see its shadow because the weather is cloudy, winter will soon end. If on the other hand, it is sunny and the groundhog sees its shadow, the groundhog will supposedly retreat into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.
Does anyone know what happened?

I agree that family guy isn’t appropriate for children. The other new one, Two and a Half Men is in the same boat. Then again the simpsons, and scrubs and that 70’s show have plenty of adult content as well. All the primetime stuff rocks in my humble opinion (except that chef on kitchen nightmares is a jerk). House, Prison Break and Bones are staples of my mediocre nightlife. And these shows are made for adults as well.
My only eentzy teenzty little comment is--since I doubt the programming is going to change—maybe this is a good time for parents to practice not using television as a babysitter.
Many moons ago... I was allowed an hour of tv a day when I got home from school and my parents wouldn’t allow me to watch the simpsons. Problem solved. Be the boss of your kids.

Today...
I took a brief moment from my 9 to 5 adventure to look at the strange square of light that hides behind my computer monitor on the opposite wall. It so happens that this square object is transparent and the light is actually coming from outside of the workplace. After checking the employee handbook to confirm if this odd distraction was even permitted, i decided to perform a closer inspection of the light. I set my emails, voicemails, and IMs to 'away', made a note to adjust my timecard, and walked to the far wall to take a look. Upon examination if found it was the sun and the sky. There were also trees swaying in the breeze. I had no idea these things were going on outside the workplace. Not even trusting my own senses i hurried back to my dear desk and checked the 23 reliable weather websites i had bookmarked, plus a few others to be sure. Very interesting... but at this point, feeling guilty for neglecting my work for so long, i filled a request form for a bigger monitor.
