This has been around before, but it is just as true now as it was the first time.  It has been validated by truthorfiction.com.  I believe the other data is a matter of public record and public opinion.  Well…this should make you think a little:  There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January.  In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January. That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq.

 

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following:

 

a. FDR led us into World War II.

b. Germany never attacked us ; Japan did >From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ..an average of 112,500 per year.

c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea North Korea never attacked us >From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost an average of 18,334 per year.

d. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.  Vietnam never attacked us.

e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire >From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost an average of 5,800 per year.

f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us.  He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.

g. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya , Iran , and, North Korea.

 

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking.

 

But Wait...There's more!

It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.  We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

 

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

 

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!

 

Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!  The Military morale is high!  The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts.

JOHN GLENN (on the Senate floor - January 26, 2004).  Some people still don't understand why military personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one man's explanation of why men and women in the armed services do what they do for a living.

 

This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some who have never served think of the military.

 

Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn): 'How can you run for Senate when you've never held a real job?' Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):'I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps.  I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my check book it was my life on the line. It was not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to the bank.

 

You to go with me as I went the other day to a veteran's hospital and look at those men with their mangled bodies in the eye, and tell THEM they didn't hold a job!'

 

You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...and you look those kids in the eye and tell them that their DADS didn't hold a job.

 

You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in Arlington National Cemetery, where I have more friends buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch those waving flags.

 

You stand there, and you think about this nation, and you tell ME that those people didn't have a job?

 

What about you? 'For those who don't remember during WWII, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the USA. Now he's a Senator!

Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona  

Do you all remember or know about Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona , who painted the jail cells pink and made the inmates wear pink prison garb. Arpaio has been called "America's Toughest Sheriff" a name given to him by the media years ago. It's a name he certainly has earned as the head of the nation's fourth largest Sheriff's Office. But even before he became Sheriff in 1993, Joe Arpaio was one tough law man.  His controversial approach to operating the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, mainly in regard to his treatment of inmates. Although he has a large number of vocal supporters for his toughness on crime and criminals, his practices have been harshly criticized by organizations such as Amnesty International.  You probably know him as "America's Toughest Sheriff",   Well.........SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN!  Oh, there's MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe! 

Maricopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay.  

The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He now has prisoners who are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for anyone who'd like to adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given them to the care of prisoners, and had them place in dog shows. 

The best part, his budget for the entire department is now under $3 million. The prisoners get the benefit of about $0.28 an hour for working, but most would work for free, just to be out of their cells for the day. Most of his budget is for utilities, building maintenance, etc. He pays the prisoners out of the fees collected for adopted animals.  

I have long wondered when the rest of the country would take a look at the way he runs the jail system, and copy some of his ideas. He has a huge farm, donated to the county years ago, where inmates can work, and they grow most of their own fresh vegetables and food, doing all the work and harvesting by hand. He has a pretty good sized hog farm, which provides meat, and fertilizer.   It fertilizes the Christmas tree nursery, where prisoners work, and you can buy a living Christmas tree for $6 - $8 for the Holidays, and plant it later. We have six trees in our yard from the Prison.  Yup, he was reelected last year with 83% of the vote.  Now he's in trouble with the ACLU again. He painted all his buses and vehicles with a mural, that has a special hotline phone number painted on it, where you can call and report suspected illegal aliens. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement wasn't doing enough in his eyes, so he had 40 deputies trained specifically for enforcing immigration laws, started up his hotline, and bought 4 new buses just for hauling folks back to the border. He's kind of a 'Get-R Dun' kind of Sheriff. 

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO…HE IS THE MARICOPA ARIZONA COUNTY SHERIFF AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER, THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY: 
Sheriff Joe Arpaio (In Arizona ) who created the ' Tent City Jail': He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.  He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights Cut off all but 'G' movies.  He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.  Then He Started Chain Gangs For Women So He Wouldn't Get Sued For Discrimination.  He took away cable TV Until he found out there was A Federal Court Order that Required Cable TV For Jails So He Hooked Up The Cable TV Again Only Let In The Disney Channel And The Weather Channel.  When asked why the weather channel He Replied, So They Will Know How Hot It's Gonna Be While They Are Working ON My Chain Gangs.  He Cut Off Coffee Since It Has Zero Nutritional Value.  When the inmates complained, he told them, 'This Isn't The Ritz/Carlton.....If You Don't Like It, Don't Come Back.  He bought Newt Gingrich's lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.  When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.  

With Temperatures Being Even Hotter Than Usual In Phoenix (116 Degrees Just Set A New Record), the Associated Press Reports: About 2,000 Inmates Living In A Barbed-Wire-Surrounded Tent Encampment At The Maricopa County Jail Have Been Given Permission To Strip Down To Their Government-Issued Pink Boxer Shorts.  On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 
138 Degrees Inside The Week Before.  Many Were Also Swathed In Wet, Pink Towels As Sweat Collected On Their Chests And Dripped Down To Their PINK SOCKS.  'It Feels Like We Are In A Furnace,' Said James Zanzot, An Inmate Who Has Lived In The TENTS for 1 year. 'It's Inhumane'.  

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic. He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: 'It's 120 Degrees In Iraq And Our Soldiers Are Living In Tents Too, And They Have To Wear Full Battle Gear, but They Didn't Commit Any Crimes,So Shut Your Mouths!'

Under the Federal law – Arrests by Sheriff’s deputies who, in the course of their duties, determine the arrestee is in Arizona illegally: 1,130 ICE “Holds” - Each inmate booked is interviewed for immigration status. Sheriff’s detention officers have turned over 13,790 illegal immigrants to Immigration authorities for deportation back to Mexico.  

Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.

This man should run for president!  He's very worthy to sit in the President's Chair!  What's your opinion?

Obama's Pastor: GD America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11.

Obama's Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Has a History of What Even Obama's Campaign Aides Say Is 'Inflammatory Rhetoric'.

Sen. Barack Obama's pastor says blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "GD America."

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's south side, has a long history of what even Obama's campaign aides concede is "inflammatory rhetoric," including the assertion that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own "terrorism."

In a campaign appearance earlier this month, Sen. Obama said, "I don't think my church is actually particularly controversial." He said Rev. Wright "is like an old uncle who says things I don't always agree with," telling a Jewish group that everyone has someone like that in their family.

Rev. Wright married Obama and his wife Michelle, baptized their two daughters and is credited by Obama for the title of his book, "The Audacity of Hope."

An ABC News review of dozens of Rev. Wright's sermons, offered for sale by the church, found repeated denunciations of the U.S. based on what he described as his reading of the Gospels and the treatment of black Americans.

"The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, GD America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "GD America for treating our citizens as less than human. GD America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."

In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda's attacks because of its own terrorism.

"We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye," Rev. Wright said in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001.

"We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost," he told his congregation.

Sen. Obama told the New York Times he was not at the church on the day of Rev. Wright's 9/11 sermon. "The violence of 9/11 was inexcusable and without justification," Obama said in a recent interview. "It sounds like he was trying to be provocative," Obama told the paper.

Rev. Wright, who announced his retirement last month, has built a large and loyal following at his church with his mesmerizing sermons, mixing traditional spiritual content and his views on contemporary issues.

"I wouldn't call it radical. I call it being black in America," said one congregation member outside the church last Sunday.

"He has impacted the life of Barack Obama so much so that he wants to portray that feeling he got from Rev. Wright onto the country because we all need something positive," said another member of the congregation.

Rev. Wright, who declined to be interviewed by ABC News, is considered one of the country's 10 most influential black pastors, according to members of the Obama campaign.

Obama has praised at least one aspect of Rev. Wright's approach, referring to his "social gospel" and his focus on Africa, "and I agree with him on that."

Sen. Obama declined to comment on Rev. Wright's denunciations of the United States, but a campaign religious adviser, Shaun Casey, appearing on "Good Morning America" Thursday, said Obama "had repudiated" those comments.

In a statement to ABCNews.com, Obama's press spokesman Bill Burton said, "Sen. Obama has said repeatedly that personal attacks such as this have no place in this campaign or our politics, whether they're offered from a platform at a rally or the pulpit of a church. Sen. Obama does not think of the pastor of his church in political terms. Like a member of his family, there are things he says with which Sen. Obama deeply disagrees. But now that he is retired, that doesn't detract from Sen. Obama's affection for Rev. Wright or his appreciation for the good works he has done."

Well I say, "If anyone didn't agree with or doesn't except what their preacher preaches & teaches, then why continue to stay around and stand behind that church and preacher?" Anyone else would find a different church that they are completely satisfied with and can believe in and agree with to the fullest with out any daught with their preachings and teachings! We are pleased to inform you that the United States Congress passed and President George W. Bush signed into law the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, which provides for economic stimulus payments to be made to over 130 million American households.  Under this new law, you may be entitled to a payment of up to $600 ($1,200 if filing a joint return), plus additional amounts for each qualifying child.

We are sending this notice to let you know that based on the new law the IRS will begin sending the one-time payments starting in May.  To receive a payment in 2008, individuals who qualify will not have to do anything more than file a 2007 tax return.  The IRS will determine eligibility, figure the amount, and send the payment.  This payment should not be confused with any 2007 income tax refund that is owned to you be the federal government.  Income tas refunds for 2007 will be made seperately from this one-time payment.

For individuals who normally do not have to file a tax return, the new law provides for payments to individuals who have a total of $3,000 or more in earned income, Social Security benefits, and/or certain veteran' payments, you may receive a payment of $300 ($600 if married filing jointly).

Individuals who qualify may receive as much as $600 ($1,200 if married filing jointly).  Even if you pay no income tax but have a total of $3,000 or more in earned income, Social Security benefits, and/or certain veteran's payments, you may receive a payment of $300 ($600 if married filing jointly).

In addition, individuals eligible for payments may also receive an additional amount of $300 for each child qualifying for the child tax credit.

For taxpayers with adjusted gross income (AGI) of more than $75,000 (or more the $150,000   if married filing jointly), the payment will be reduced or phased out completely.

To qualify for the payment, an individual, spouse, and any qualifying child must have a valid Social Security number.  In addition, individuals cannot receive a payment if they can be claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer or they filed a 2007 Form 1040NR, 1040NR-EZ, 1040-PR, or 1040-SS.

All individuals receiving payments will receive a notice and additional information shortly before the payment is made.  In the meantime, for additional information, please visit the IRS website at www.irs.gov.

"The 'virtual fence' is virtually useless," says Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA). The recent failure of the highly touted "virtual fence" (that DHS spent more than $20 million developing) is a slap in the face to every citizen who has been demanding control of the borders.

But DHS isn't committed to securing the borders. If they were, they would have followed the mandates of the Secure Fence Act, and duplicated the barrier built in San Diego.

That 14-mile fence has been extremely effective in lowering illegal crossings and drug traffic. In fact, apprehensions have decreased due to fewer crossings. In simple language, the double-layered fence works.

Hunter is so incensed by the current state of border fencing-- single-layer, and virtual fencing that he’s introduced legislation demanding that it "restores the most important elements of the Secure Fence Act," notably 700 miles of double-layered fencing to be constructed within six months of the bill’s enactment.

H.R. 5124 is strongly supported and should be strongly supported by every citizen in the nation who is serious about border security.

I have just learned that the just passed House Stimulus package intended to jump-start a sagging economy by giving citizens rebates, also includes cash benefits for illegal aliens!  Please say it isn't soooooo!!!!! 

"I heard it through the grapevine" that according to FOX News, the plan would benefit those illegal aliens who qualify as "resident aliens" - meaning they have spent a substantial amount of time in the U.S. and have not yet been deported.  To add...these so-called "resident aliens" also must have been assigned a US Individual Tax Identification Number.  Please say it isn't soooooo!!!!! 

Assigning a tax number to an illegal alien in-effect legitimizes their right to be in the U.S!  This bill will certainly stimulate "more illegal immigration."  Please say it isn't soooooo!!!!!

 

This bill easily passed through the House(385-35), and some restoration sense and sensibility as this bill progresses through the Senate.  So fast action is possible when they want to speed something through so quickly, it makes you wonder what's really up!

Democrats’ DREAM Act is a Nightmare

Coyotes are the men who prey on illegal aliens, helping illegal immigrants return to the U.S. over our southern border, sometimes after these immigrants have been deported, two, even three or more times. Apparently our Democratic friends in Congress have learned a thing or two from the “coyotes,” because just when we’d thought we’d sent the illegal-immigrant amnesty bill packing (at least for this year), Congress has ignored the public’s wishes and is trying to sneak what amounts to another amnesty bill through.

After several false starts Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) continues to push the DREAM Act. What is the DREAM Act? A nightmare.

The act would allow any illegal immigrant who entered the country before the age of 16 to receive conditional residency, which could then be converted to a non-conditional residency. These illegal immigrants can apply for this form of amnesty so long as they are under 30 and they weren’t older than 16 when they came to the country. And, of course, there is no way of proving when they illegally entered our country. After all, they are undocumented. Aliens would qualify even if they received and ignored a removal order if that order was received before they were 16.

Essentially, the DREAM Act puts some illegal aliens in a better position for residency than legal aliens who have played by the rules.

In addition to this stealth amnesty, the DREAM Act, would repeal a portion of the 1996 federal immigration law that prohibits any state from offering in-state college tuition rates to illegal aliens unless the state also offers in-state tuition to all U.S. citizens. Thus, if the DREAM Act passes, any state could offer such a break to qualifying illegal aliens.

At a time when hard working Americans are being asked to foot the bill for costlier college educations, we shouldn’t be offering special deals to people here illegally. We need fewer, not more, incentives for illegal aliens to come to this country.

Given the widespread public uprising over the comprehensive immigration reform bill, you’d think the Senate had learned its lesson. Apparently not. Instead of focusing on legislation the American people clearly want nothing to do with, Senate Democrats are planning to bring the DREAM Act up for a vote today. Instead, they should focus on doing the work of the people, and pass the appropriations bills that have been awaiting their attention for months now.

More and more, English is being replaced by Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and othe languages in America.  Of course we all have noticed that the most dominate language which to some is looked upon as a secondary language is of the Latin origin.  At the state and national levels, our government is actively encouraging multilingualism be promoting foreign language usage in more and more official capacities – and refusing to declare English as the official language of the United States.  Unless we change the policy of our government and pressure Congress to declare English as our official language, it is only a matter of time before America ceases to be an ”English-speaking” country.

"We the People" can be innocent victims of the Judicial System Abuse which has been going on for many years now.  It shows more responsibility would fall to those judicial law officials and the very ones who enforces, protects, and makes the laws for our judicial system to work for this country and its people, of being guilty in abusing the judicial system in order to close cases using evidence to falsely accuse innocent victims of crimes they never committed.

(One Example) In 1984 a man was convicted for a murder he never committed all over testimony of a claimed expert through the prosecuting attorney which placed the evidence collected to overwhelmingly point guilt to this innocent man.  Knowing his innocence he learned more about the judicial system and after 19 years of serving his given sentence and with the help of today’s technology, proved they convicted the wrong person for this crime and the evidence used against him in a court of law in which he was convicted was false.  In order to cover up their mistake they tried to get this guy to confess of yet another crime instead of doing what would be the RIGHT thing to do by releasing him and clearing his records and claims of this False Imprisonment.

There is a great concern about those who have been and still are being deprived, denied, abused, betrayed, and victimized by improper actions by some officials of the courts and legal systems.  These actions along with fraudulent facts, conspiracy and collusion are being perpetrated a upon citizens of this country. Unfortunately, the perpetrators are the same individuals who have taken an oath to serve, protect and up hold the constitution of the United States and it's by laws.

The Citizens Against Legal Abuse organization has been brought together by Honorary Chairman Dick Gregory in an effort to network, identify, discuss and inform citizens of the abuse, corruption and gross miscarriage of justice in the civil, legal, judicial, and criminal systems as it effects the poor, under privileged, elderly and minority citizens of this country.  This has been active in hope that you will join membership with us on this very important endeavor issues in order that we may take a positive and corrective actions in addressing these injustices.  I feel this is a great cause and should be supported to correct the injustice that has been placed upon the innocent!

There are still thousands of innocent victims which is still sitting in prisons today all because of being falsely accused and convicted through the usage of how lawyers can use the system against them instead in order to close the case and really allowing the real criminals to stay free and commit other crimes.  This is the time for people to stand and demand for those in the judicial system to make things right and face up their mistakes, work to improve further prevention of false abuse of the system, and stop trying to cover up what is clearly of their own guilt!  This is also a big example of how diverse our laws can be used against you no matter what and it proves to work better for the true criminal.  The system can work both ways for criminals, either for them or against them!

But the abuse isn't just within the judicial system when it comes to the laws written to protect.  It would seem that not only does this place an injustice to innocent victims but also can be and has been abused by our own government which is packed with law officials which look over enforcing the laws already placed to protect this country and its people.  Law makers today still choose to encore the proven facts of the many ways our Judicial System is being abused.  So what exactly are their oaths they give to us (the people) with supporting those written laws to protect and serve for the people and the innocent?  Just how much more injustice must we endure before something is finally done and placed in the correct prospective?  Aren’t we still the victims here?

The growing greed of political gain is the abuse that triggers on all the injustice that has been place upon the people and the innocent!  With that being said, "The Judicial System" will continue to be abused within a political aspect placing us "We the People" in the line of fire with Law Offical's personal growth for their own careers!  This also places their future at the top over everyone and anyone of the citizens here in America placing us and our future in their hands!

Florida Democrats have put their foot down. State party leaders formally announced on Sunday their plans to move ahead with a January 29th primary, despite the national leadership's threatened sanctions for doing so. Chairman of the Alachua County Democratic Party, Jon Reiskind says the date was set by the state legislature and Reiskind thinks the important thing is the vote on January 29th. Reiskind believes that a national primary arrangement needs to be worked out. Reiskind also adds the January 29th election is critically important, and not only with regards to presidential preference. The Democratic National Committee has said it will strip the Sunshine State of its 210 nominating convention delegates if it does not abide by the party-set calendar. However, Florida's Democratic leadership said they want their key swing state to play a bigger role in choosing the party's nominee.

Real showings of true leadership, priorities, peace, and colors among them as we sit back with our bag of popcorn and watch.  A democratic war, something they all don't support but yet are placing within the party.  Is this what people wish to have to further add to our problems we already have.

Chavez is NOW getting a Russian Weapons Factory built by Putin. The RUSSIANS are building an AK-47 Kalashnikov Assault Rifle factory in Venezuela, to give armament support to Communist Rebel groups throughout the Americas. Chavez NOW has IRANIANS operating his oil refineries in Venezuela for him. It is likely only a matter of time, if not already, before Chavez has Iranian built LONG RANGE missiles, with a variety of warhead types aimed at: Guess Who?

It would seem the war in Iraq isn't the only threat to the Unites States of America but rather from all directions and the war could be letting our guard down for others to interact upon.    While our government is changing things for their cover, others are planning against us as their backs are turned in a different direction.   The question in mind is "Just how safe are we now"?
