I just visited the IHOP in Abilene and I gotta tell ya....those are the best flapjacks I've ever had in my life!  Not to mention some of the best customer service ever.  Those folks are incredibly kind and even brought me a bucket of maple syrup to enjoy my cakes with!  Kudos to the IHOP folks in Abilene. 
On another note, take note of the book donation going on there.  A unique campaign where if you donate your used books you'll receive a free plate of pancakes courtesy of KXVA!  Great stuff so get in there!

Alright folks, it's been 100 years since my Chicago Cubs have won a World Series.  It's time to put your Dallas Cowboys on the backburner and focus on a baseball just a bit longer.  Does anybody here like BeefJerky?  Ok Great.  Now then, San Angelo is home to one of the best chicken finger and french fry dinners I've ever had.  I forget the name of the restaurant but it was magical.  Let's talk about the San Angelo airport for a quick second.  I walk in and the place is empty yet it takes 2 hours to go thru security.  Any ideas on what security is doing there??

Howabout those Cubs!  Back in the playoffs after a 4 year absence, not to mention almost 100 years since they last won a world series!  All I can say is thank god for Alfonso Soriano.  That dude is the spark plug in our line up.  I honestly don't believe that we would have made the post season without him.  And with Sweet Lou at the helm, I think we are going deep into October.  So who's with me to cheer them on?  I gotta believe there's a ton of cubbie fans in Chico!  Shout back!
