SUNDAY’S SUPERBOWL STANDS AS MOST-WATCHED EVER: The results are in and it looks like Sunday’s nail-bitten SUPERBOWL win by the NY Giants over the NE Patriots is the most-watched to date. The game averaged 97.5 million total viewers, which is an impressive improvement over the last SUPERBOWL record holder…XXX in 1996 (94.1 million). Last Sunday’s big game also achieved another milestone…the second most watched TV event ever. The most-watched is still the final episode of MASH on CBS in 1983 which attracted 106 million total viewers.
